Oh contemplate the Universe with me,

Pausing to draw an inference or two.

We'll weigh the essence of eternity,

A fountain rich, beyond our yearning view.

As contradictions set the ambience,

We join humanity's sweet sacred quest

To search for truth in our experience,

And study up to ask, "Lucky or blessed?"

We'll meditate on substance, fire and ice,

And so distil the magic in between.

The magical, the thorns, the quantum dice,

Eliciting, what can its message mean?

Coherent inference is paramount

To read the Universe and mystic fount.

Oh contemplate the Universe with me,

But balance zooming in with zooming out.

Zoom in to physics and chemistry

That underlie what life is all about.

Zoom in, to the machine technology.

Zoom out, to see the person as one whole,

So not to limit our reality

To quantum vibrations with no real soul.

Zoom out, to see the Universe as one,

Until we hold it there, in front of us.

That gem speaks for itself to everyone:

A declaration of, and to, the glorious.

Avoid those glass half empty folks out there

By using some coherent inference,

Is there a way to separate stardust and clay?

They both describe the cosmic elements

And planet Earth, so what's the difference?

A quick peruse and our response is, none.

It's code: Two metaphysical world views:

A self-contained, closed Universe is one,

Transcendent cosmos is the other one.

One just an accident, one honoured gift,

One offers no purpose, no destiny.

The other one? We're never cast adrift

And have a personal identity.

Oh sense two opposites. Stardust and clay?

The contemplation is now underway.

If Adam's high tech toy was used to test

His age, in his first week, what would it read?

And what about the day when he was blessed?

Would each new tree look like it grew from seed?

And what about the age of solid rock?

Would it show "aeons" on his gizmo's screen?

He'd have to somehow calibrate the clock,

To work out just what all those numbers mean.

There's one big certainty, it won't read days.

Yes, it might be the first week of his life,

But rock would overload his toy's displays,

And he looks old enough to take a wife.

So contemplate the Universe's age.

It's all about a calibrated gauge.

If something lives or dies, it's evidence

That nature is selecting its good genes.

When organisms live, they fight and play,

They hunt for food and multiply their kind.

Many are ambulant, they sing, roar, bray,

They swim, fly, dig, curl up in balls, unwind.

They tell us it's the blind watchmaker's hands,

Or like a sculptor, chipping at a rock.

They tell us Darwin's famous insight stands

The test of time and no, it's not ad hoc.

Today we doubt what Darwin had to give.

It's just like saying that the living live.

Oh rise, my soul, draw into your windows

The sights and essence of a Universe

Of grandeur and connectedness. Fine prose

And mathematics fail, in their traverse

Of gulf between reality, and vain

Attempts to capture this seamless grandeur.

Oh meditate on streams, like cosmic rain,

To bless, caress, so let your spirit soar.

Draw in the power and finesse of star

And flower both. Now grasp the secret dawn

Of your existence in the sweet nectar,

Enfolding you, of mystic forces born.

Oh soul arise, turn to this scene, be still,,

To meditate, to soothe your calloused will.

Sure of the evolution inference?

We've heard that little rumour going round,

That there's decisive, missing evidence

That puts the status quo on shaky ground.

It seems, there's zero science to confirm,

A known species evolved a new species.

And then another rumour to confirm:

No set consensus on the term, "species"?

A wicked grin and rolling eye movements,

As double unconfirmed rumours sink in,

Build doubts. It also lifts our confidence,

To ask about Charles Darwin's "Origin.."?

If new species don't rise from old species,

We cannot create those family trees.

The evolution word games are the key,

To making sense in all world-view debates.

The facts and fiction mix so easily,

When coming up with something that creates.

So when we check the evolution scripts,

Diversity is the small differences

People can see, in spades, on any trips.

Disparity is larger differences.

But each concept is swapped in the debates,

And no one doubts, change in diversity.

So watch for any swap in news updates:

Diversity creates disparity.

But there's no evidence that this occurred.

Still evolutionists are undeterred.

If we quote Albert's famous formula,

With its mass/energy equivalence,

Then demonstrate something spectacular

To highlight our firsthand experience,

Can we pronounce on how things came to be?

Would our knowledge and skills be good enough?

Would we possess some credibility

On that topic? Those questions aren't so tough.

That's three big no's. On that mystic process

We'd all be hopeless amateurs for sure.

At best, we'd give an educated guess,

Some weird exotic stuff, but not much more.

No one can lay a claim to origins:

How physics and life's chemistry begins.

Do we teach evolution in school time?

Where there's no God and we are but stardust.

Do we teach the orthodox paradigm:

Guiding those impressionable minds to trust

The overwhelming scientific evidence

That we're just molecules? Well yes, we do.

It's not religious though. Just inference

With evolution as the overview.

We study a broad range of animals

And provide a supportive atmosphere,

Whenever teaching how those chemicals

Evolved into a complex living biosphere.

It's not religious though. We're not devout.

Clear thinking skills is what it's all about.

What do we need to make a butterfly?

A biosphere, to land, with food and light:

That mix of sunlight, water, dirt and sky,

And splash of colour seemingly just right.

What's any butterfly's Elysium?

It's cradle of existence, magical.

It's the entire spacetime continuum.

The link from wonderful to beautiful.

That mix of tweaked, exotic elements,

That fire, dewdrops and the atmosphere,

Create the perfect tone, the sights, the scents,

To ride the winds and enjoy being here.

What do we need, but keep the answer terse?

In short, we need a complex Universe.

When DNA transcription is complete,

We have ourselves some strands of RNA.

The editing process was no small feat:

Some multiplexing sets the interplay,

But exons specify the cell protein.

That RNA becomes the data set,

Sent to a multifunctional machine

That reads the sent, four letter alphabet,

And then, using some other data sets,

Translates the RNA into a string

Of amino-acids. To check for threats,

Error detection tests all processing.

Some fancy editing is everywhere.

And complicated blips, are fixed right there.

When contemplating life, what's so profound?

The Nth degree with which it takes control.

We know from this, that sensors will abound,

And each of these will have their special role.

Each cell-based process operating now,

Will have at least one sensor to measure

Some physical phenomenon somehow.

It could be pressure, volume, temperature,

Some distance, speed, salinity or flow.

Maybe electrical or chemical,

Or other property we may not know.

The ones for life seem tuned and optimal.

So how does life battle nature out there?

Some silent, sensor sentinels somewhere.

With open eyes, I touch new leaves and sigh,

Sensing imagination set adrift.

New life is oh so delicate. My, my!

New vibrant colours, new textures, new gift.

But then, the scientific part of me kicks in.

That moment is broken, but not the spell.

I'm hopelessly entranced. Plant specimen?

A stack of chloroplasts in each leaf cell.

The cradle of all photosynthesis,

To untangle quantum entanglement

And lift our mood by sugar synthesis.

Plant cells intensify the wonderment.

To capture a photon, how good is that?

Inside that botany I'm looking at.

Doubting the evolution inference

Where thinking is delusional, but where

Imagination is the evidence?

Where vegetables, bugs and people can share

A common, great, great grandparent in times

Conveniently inaccessible?

Where they tell us, what's common in enzymes

Is proof to link us to that ancient vegetable?

Doubting that serious scenario,

But option one's not sitting on the fence?

Congratulations, you have cried, ergo:

Complete and utter, full-on, pure nonsense.

You're someone who knows fiction from a fact,

And yes, your common sense is still intact.

Doubting the evolution inference,

Where God becomes a smaller entity

With each new piece of detailed evidence?

Then grow that doubt. We have reality.

With every piece of scientific proof,

When each new complication is revealed,

The chances for design go through the roof.

And that's for every scientific field.

As science fills the details in for us,

Each fancy complication specified,

Confirms a real designer made it thus.

With this, the wonder is intensified.

All detailed scientific evidence

Confirms the Grand Designer inference. *

If evolution's core theology

Dictates, "If god is there, he doesn't care",

Then sets our cultural identity.

If evil in the world, gives them an air

Of truth. If evil is the evidence.

If evolution drives our media,

Then all the TV news makes perfect sense:

It's there to engender insomnia,

And falling sky makes a perfect benchmark.

So what are all those horror stories for?

To keep us all distracted in the dark.

The TV news is just the fog of war.

So what is our mass media's main role?

Assure us all that god has lost control.

When teaching sciences in any schools,

We teach how hydrogen and oxygen

Can pop, to give some water molecules.

Study the properties of sodium

And many other common elements,

Create magnetic fields with wire coils,

We try some acid/base experiments,

We take some temperatures as water boils,

Read voltmeters, use an old microscope,

Or study some new plants or animals.

But we should never teach, "Abandon hope,

Because we're just vibrating particles."

Yes, much to learn in any science class.

But don't need evolution for a pass.

Can small vibrations in the air hurt us?

Can they produce some damage to our cells?

If they're extremely small, and don't possess

The energy to reach cell organelles,

There doesn't seem that possibility.

But we know that they can. Come on! Just air?

From something like a breeze? How could that be?

Because we're more than just atoms. We care

For those we'll never know, and who we love.

There's more than just vibrations in all this.

We're body, soul and spirit and we love.

So small vibrations can be just ruthless

When someone close to us, who we adore,

Whispers, "No, I don't love you anymore."

The thought police decree, from hallowed halls,

Some fancy chemistry turned rocks to men,

As outlined in their multiple book stalls.

They all pronounce on God in what they pen,

In science sections of our main book stalls.

These two ideas are always at the top

In their decrees inside their hallowed halls:

If we pose God, then science work will stop,

And there's atomic forces, we evolved.

Yes, confident they know the thoughts we think,

So all pronounce that God was not involved,

When everything sprang from a quantum blink.

Their confidence in these two gems is strong

Because they know the obvious: We're wrong.

If someone's making scientific claims

About some ultimate reality,

We know it's all their multiple word games,

And this is not a simple subtlety.

No scientific tests show how things start,

From where they came, and so their destiny.

They haven't shown us how a single part

Springs from some physics or some chemistry.

No test gives God the sack, or shown us how

The protein-DNA system arrived.

It's all about maybe, might have, somehow,

Someway, and yes, survivors have survived.

All science undermines their own word games,

And they'll deny, denied religious claims.

A cosmic gusher put all into play.

The very opposite of some black-hole.

It flips the thoughts we have on that first day

And gives our Universe a different soul.

That white-hole Big-bang changes everything.

Those new event horizons can bequeath

Gazillion years for light to do its thing,

And let our Universe begin to breathe.

It resets all our clocks, removes limits,

Gives some new tricks to stale cosmology,

And can produce some awesome benefits:

A Universe where time blends with eternity.

White-hole, Big-bang cosmology will tweet,

"Our Universe moves to a new heart-beat."

If we're intent on dinosaurs, we'd miss

The complicated programming to make

A living, breathing dinosaur. We'd miss

The sciences of sights and sounds that take

Us on our journey through the Universe.

And if we're set on ancient history,

And not on what makes living so diverse,

We'd miss the physics and the chemistry,

Making all life seem so miraculous.

What does it take to make a dinosaur?

And if they're just a metaphor,, for us,

Well, that's the only question to explore.

The Universe is way beyond spectacular.

It's time for us to cue the orchestra.

Rise up, my soul, to matters, not mundane,

To ponder themes that link to destiny.

Let not one stone remain unturned, to gain

Your view of ultimate identity.

If life is but a door, oh soul, today,

Take flight above the everyday of things,

Where clarity and freedom light your way,

To break the bonds that education brings.

Now take the steps outside your comfort zone,

Dropping your guard to the Transcendent One,

Where hangs the sacred veil of the unknown.

Oh soul, reach out, or we are both undone!

Let not uncertainty hinder your task.

The promise waits. Naught left to do but ask.

Potent. Promise. The cosmic embryo:

Possessed of raw latent eternity.

Mature. Magic. One Universe aglow:

Raw power realized, reality.

Predictable, yes, understandable.

Precise, spectacular magnificence

Elicit questions, metaphysical,

"Chaos alone?" or, "High intelligence?"

Artistic information testifies

From DNA. Truly ingenious.

A promise kept to universalize

A true ultra-interconnectedness.

A gift or accident. Conundrum.

One Universe. Coherently awesome.
